Repeater is OFF. This was a previous location and system. Hoping to put one up connected to Allstar at some point!
KD8RMQ repeater _ 147.36+ / 103.5
The KD8RMQ Repeater is located in Plains Montana. It covers the Plains valley and some surrounding areas. If you are in the area, feel free to stop by the frequency. I am not around as much right now, but I always enjoy having people use the repeater.
103.5 hz tone (input
32 watt output
RX antenna @ 65' AGL
It is a modified Motorola GM300 with an ID-O-Matic II controller. I still use the GM300 radios, power supply and cabinet.
Handheld Coverage: Jct Hwy 135 / 200 to MM 68 Hwy 200.
Mobile Coverage: Perma MT to Thompson Falls MT.
It is also EchoLink node number 757103!
Click here for more information on the Echolink and Commands.
Echolink is wired directly into the repeater (between the RX radio and the controller). This gives it good audio quality and no ID over the link. Echolink is controlled by a raspberry pi running svxlink software.
Echolink on a raspberry pi?
I found this a very interesting project. Here are the links to the websites I used to create this. I actually think it works better than the windows version which I ran for a while.

All three of these use the program "svxlink" for EchoLink connection. (PS svxlink works with any linux system...)
